For the ostrich feather centerpieces we use the male winged plumes. They are 20 to 23 inches long, has the natural droop, & very plush. Only hand picked first quality ostrich feathers are used for your centerpieces. We use 40 feathers per centerpieces to make it very full for you. We will make them less full per your request.
We DO NOT use drab ostrich feathers. Drabs are shorter, narrow, not plush, and dont have the natural droop. Some of the companies on the internet with the kits show you a picture of male winged plumes. However what you receive are drabs. Some of them will tell you to setup the centerpieces a day before to give time to droop. A tip if you choose to use them :Ask if they are drabs & how many feathers do you get per centerpiece.
